Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy

Speaking as a child of the '70s...

I've said before how much I love when a film captures the look and feel of an era without parodying said era. In the case of Anchorman, I don't care how much they parody the 1970s.

We were a very plaid place. Everyone smoked and littered. Cologne came in glass bottles shaped like race cars.

I like a good, quotable comedy. I told some guys at work that Anchorman was next up, and it started a barrage of movie quotes that I'm pretty sure annoyed every female in the room. Because that's what movie quoting does. At least when I do it around women anyway.

And by women I mostly mean my wife.

But also my co-workers.

But mostly my wife.

Yes.

  1. Your quoting does not bother me and I am both a co-worker and a woman!

  2. You have to let me know when you guys start a quote fest. That's an order :)

    I'm Ron Burgundy?
