300 is still an impressive film, despite the wispy plot. I'd forgotten quite a bit, because for me this film is forgettable and has virtually no value personally. I don't get all introspective when I watch 300 or think about Thhhhpartha. I don't think much at all.
However, this one goes to show one thing: I don't just have quiet little character pieces in my DVD collection. Sometimes I have these big, dumb action pieces that say very little yet spent so much money.
I don't think you should have to justify what's in your collection to the mass public. They are your choices and your choices alone. Unless you have Britney Spear's "Crossroads," then in the words of Ricky Ricardo you have some 'splaining to do.
